Knowledge + action = lessons/results‼️
Fam, I've finished Track 1, I am running & screaming this, because of the MASSIVE amount of knowledge & poetry business intensive gem filled lessons generously provided by my poetry business coach @Christoph Jenkins (YES SIR, I claim you & say that when I share about PBI & PBN). I have been offered an Artist Residency, and I will be teaching monthly workshops at The Mixxer Community Maker Space. The Executive Director asked could I create content to speak to the well-being of the artists in the creative community. I said yes ( because I am a Swiss army knife: Track 1 PBI! MY workshop series is titled "Rooted in Wellness" Thank you again @Christoph Jenkins🥹 and much appreciation to my PBI/PBN family for ALL the support and knowledge shared.

💡 Let’s Talk: Artist vs. Entity
In Lesson 1.2 of Module 1 of Track 1, we explore an important shift many poets eventually face: “Entities get paid more than individual artists. Businesses would rather operate B2B.” This lesson digs into what happens when a poet begins moving from being seen as an individual artist to operating as an entity... especially from a financial and opportunity standpoint. It raises real questions about: - How poets are perceived - How opportunities are structured - Why businesses often prefer B2B relationships - What changes when a poet positions themselves beyond the individual Let’s Discuss 👇🏽 - What are your initial thoughts on this idea? - Does this shift feel empowering, intimidating, or confusing? - Have you seen or experienced this difference firsthand? There are no right or wrong answers here—this is about awareness and perspective. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

I have positioned & presented myself as more than a poet, because I am a poetry business owner that offers several services. Recently I have experienced the difference, I've been approached and referred for 2 new opportunities which I will give more details about in our "wins" section. Let's be real this ideology was a little intimidating at first. But now I can flow with my business description. I'm much more comfortable with it and definitely feeling empowered and excited for my next level🤗💥

Blessings y’all! Chicago native here raising my children in the beautiful Arizona. Paloma is my stage name & I love using poetry for outreach purposes. I’ve been contracted through my LLC to perform at events with community non profits, host poetry workshops for teens and teach lectures for the city. I have been playing small though & in this season of displacement looking to tap in again with my gift to move the masses globally utilizing my story, lessons learned and my faith in God. Not exactly sure how yet, but hoping to figure out where to begin, publish and get deeper into community to bring value, hope and transformation. Currently off of all social media except this app, intentionally, and wanting to connect more in person with people & community. Peace. I’m excited to learn here & reconnect to who God designed me to be through my gift. My question to you all here is what is the most valuable thing you have learned here so far?

Hey @Jesenia Legarreta welcome to the community my poetry sister 👋🏾. I've learned so many valuable lessons in PBI, go through the modules in Track 1, the amount of knowledge is massive and applicable steps are given in each lesson. 2 nuggets: we as poets are Swiss army knives, we are adaptable and our poetry has the power to disrupt all business entities and sectors of society. Because we share insight, knowledge, healing, empowerment and so much more through our art. We are more than poets with poems, we are poetry business owners. This is the year of poet my sister....speak your truth and share about what you offer.💖

I am a poet, an inspirational speaker and a griot. I reflect on our rich Black culture and history, and remind people how amazing they are!
