LinkedIn gives everyone a free trial and if you're actively applying it's worth activating just to take advantage of what's inside. I wouldn't tell anyone to pay for it, but the free month id take advantage of. Here's what's actually useful: ๐Ÿ’ฐSalary insights โ€” see salary ranges for roles before you apply or before you walk into an interview. Stops you underselling yourself when the question comes up. ๐Ÿ“Š See how you compare to other applicants โ€” shows you where you stand against everyone else who applied. Useful for knowing whether a role is realistic or whether you need to build out your profile more first. These first two are the most useful and if youโ€™re taking my advice of 10 applications a day that you work hard on. This allows you to pick your applications wisely rather than guessing. ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Background slideshow โ€” instead of one static banner image you can upload multiple images that rotate. Use it to show more about yourself, your work, projects you've been involved in. It makes your profile feel a lot more alive than most people's. ๐Ÿ”— Add a link to your profile โ€” Premium lets you put a clickable link at the top of your profile. Point it straight at your portfolio. Before a hiring manager even reads your CV they can click through and see your work. ๐Ÿ“ฉ InMail credits โ€” message hiring managers and recruiters directly without needing to be connected first. Activate the trial, use it for 30 days, and cancel before it charges you if you don't want to keep it. Has anyone here tried it? Would love to know how you found it ๐Ÿ‘‡

Bank Holiday Monday โ€” use it well ๐Ÿ‘€
What's everyone been up to this weekend? I've just got home from Belfast and I encountered probably the strangest tattoo Iโ€™ve ever seen. Definitely could have lived without knowing this existed (take a look at it below). Most people are doing nothing today. So hereโ€™s quick idea for your bank holiday Monday. Spend an hour on your materials. CV, LinkedIn, portfolio, whatever needs the most work. I'll leave a couple of videos linked below to help you out. ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Are you using Claude Artifacts yet?
An artifact is basically a mini website you can build in seconds using Claude. No coding, no tech skills needed. The difference with this site is that it is interactive and can make a tool in 2 minutes that could've taken two hours plus. Think of the CV tailoring tool or the Job titles tool useful tools that look impressive and they only took 10 minutes at most to make Here's how I recommend you use them: 1. Build a lead magnet โ€” create a CV scoring tool, a free resource, or anything valuable in your niche. Great if you're going for content or digital marketing roles and want to show you understand lead gen. 2. Show your skills before you're even hired โ€” build a Meta Ads dashboard, a campaign roadmap, or an email strategy visual. Let the hiring manager see exactly how you'll show up in the role before the interview is even over. 3. Make a tool that solves a real problem โ€” SOP generator/dashboard, email reply generator meeting summary tool. Show them you're not just a marketer, you're someone who makes the team's life easier from day one. Here's a couple extra use cases To impress an employer: - Competitor analysis tool โ€” build a simple tool where you input a competitor's ad copy or landing page and it spits out a breakdown of their strategy. Show a hiring manager you think like a strategist, not just an executor. - Content calendar generator โ€” paste in a brand's niche and target audience and it builds a month of content ideas instantly. Perfect for social media or content marketing roles โ€” show them what month one looks like before they've even offered you the job. - Email sequence builder โ€” paste in a product or offer and it writes a 5-email nurture sequence. Huge for any ecom, or agency role where email is part of the job. - Ad copy tester โ€” build a tool that scores ad copy based on best practices (hook, CTA, clarity etc). Shows analytical thinking and platform knowledge in one.

@Teemu Toikka Claude is great but the free version is very limited and the upgrade is pretty expensive. I upgraded last week and it was about $25/mo. Unfortunately, without that you'll have a limit on the amount of artifacts you can make daily.
