👕 New BOLO this week: Graphic Tees. One check separates a $25 shirt from a $5 shirt.
I pulled fresh eBay sold data on the tee racks this morning. 14 searches, 60 real sold comps each. Here is what the numbers actually said 👇 🔥 Harley-Davidson 3D Emblem, $149.99 median. Even the beat-up ones start at $90. 🎤 Vintage rap tee, $60 median. 🎸 Vintage band tee, $39.99 median, and the volume is huge, so this is the tier that pays the rent. 👖 Plain no-name 90s single stitch, $25 median. Nobody else in the store is touching these. And the one that surprised me: modern Carhartt tees came in at a $14.89 median with the flattest range in the entire run. I seeded it as a bread-and-butter brand and the data moved it straight to the trap list. Old Navy sits at $11.99. 🚫 The tell that runs through the whole category is single stitch. Flip the sleeve hem and the bottom hem inside out. One row of stitching means pre-mid-90s. Two rows means modern. That is the check. Full BOLO with all 14 medians, the tag tells, and the exact search strings goes up in the Classroom this week. 🙌 Question for you: what is the highest a graphic tee has ever sold for you, and did you know what it was when you grabbed it? Poll: which tee do you walk past most often?

Week recap: $273.93 in sales, 7 items out the door. What do you want next?
📦 Week in the books. 7 items sold, $273.93 in sales. 🏆 Best flip of the week was a 1976 Budweiser Centennial wooden crate. $71.86 in, $114.95 out. Nobody thrifting that day thought a beat-up wooden crate was the money item on the shelf. That is the whole game: the boring thing everyone walks past. Two things I want you to take from this week: 1️⃣ Volume beats luck. One flip is a fluke. Seven is a pattern you can plan around. 2️⃣ The best buys rarely look like the best buys. Crates, ties, blank-looking button-downs. If you can name the brand from ten feet away, so can everyone else. 🗳️ Now your turn. I am building the next classroom drop this week and I want it to be the one you actually need. Vote below 💬 And drop your best sale of the week in the comments. Doesn't matter if it was $12 or $120, post it.

🧺 Saturday Sourcing Check-In: what did you actually find this week?
Drop one thing you sourced this week in the comments. 📸 A photo is even better. Tell me three things about it: 1️⃣ What it is (brand + item) 2️⃣ What you paid 3️⃣ What the sold comps say it is worth Here is why this matters more than it looks. Most people who quit reselling did not quit because they picked bad items. They quit because they never built the habit of checking the comp BEFORE the item went in the cart. Posting your find here forces that second step, and the rest of us get to pressure-test your number. I will reply to every single one with what I would have paid. 💬 And if you sourced nothing this week, say that too. A zero week is data, not failure. 🙂 Attach a poll: How many items did you source this week?

Let's hear what you picked up. I went to goodwill and picked up about 30 items all. There were all clothing items. Most were polos, Footjoy, Adidas and a few jerseys.

Comp of the day 👔 the $60 tie nobody at the thrift store recognizes
🔎 Brand: Charvet 📊 Sold median: $60.98 (n = 60 real sold listings, pulled 8/10/26) 📈 Range: $14.99 low, $75.00 at p75, $220 top comp 🏷️ Tag tell: the keeper strip reads "Charvet Place Vendome," Made in France, 100% silk 🔍 Verify it live: search charvet tie on eBay, then filter Sold + Completed Everybody grabs the Hermes and walks right past this one. Charvet is a Paris shirtmaker almost nobody in a thrift store has heard of, which is exactly why it sits in the tie rack for two bucks. Poll: what would you have paid for a Charvet tie at the thrift store? Drop the wildest tie brand you have ever found in the wild 👇
