Session 3 is LIVE! 🚀 in the NLMA 101 Course
The third session of the 101 course is officially up in the classroom! We’ve covered the vision and the environment... now we’re tackling the "Sudden Silence." That’s the gap between finishing school with a built-in community and being out on your own where it’s just you, the table, and a lot of questions. In this session, we aren't just talking theory. We are looking directly at the biggest hurdles and challenges new therapists face. The goal here is to identify exactly what we are going to work through together in this community using simple, proven solutions so you don't have to figure them out in isolation. We’re highlighting the types of challenges we'll be tackling, such as: - The "Employee Brain" Trap: That urge to discount your worth or take a "safe" job because you're new. - The Marketing Void: What happens when friends and family are already off the table and the phone stops ringing. - The Business Fog: Navigating the overhead, taxes, and software systems that usually feel like a second job. - The Physical Toll: Identifying the habits that lead to burnout before you even hit your stride. Your value doesn't come from how many years you've been licensed... it comes from the relief you provide and the professional way you handle these obstacles. 👇 Action Item: Watch the Session 3 video and then come back here. In the comments, tell me: What is the #1 hurdle on this list (or off it) that’s currently stressing you out? Let’s get these challenges out in the open so we can start clearing the path together. See you in the comments!

@Tammy Davis in the classroom. Here's the direct link. Great idea to connect it in the post https://www.skool.com/next-level-massage-academy-7047/classroom/bea04902?md=dceadd0f845b4412aa3bd501839eeed4
Module 1 in the 101 course is LIVE! 🚀 (Stop the Grind, Start the Strategy)
I just dropped the first module of the Next Level Launch 101 course! I’m sharing the exact shift that took me from a decade of "hustling" in Hawaii to building a six-figure practice in Wisconsin in just two years. Here’s what we’re diving into in Session 1: - The Therapist Trap: Why being the "best therapist in town" isn't enough to pay the rent. - Hustle vs. Precision: How to stop being "everything to everyone" and start acting like a specialist. - The Discovery Phase: Why I want you to take every client you can right now (and what to do with that data). The goal here isn't just to talk shop... it’s to help you build a career that doesn’t leave you burnt out with arthritic wrists by age 40. 👇 Action Item: Go watch the intro video, download the Practice Blueprint, and let me know in the comments: What’s one thing about the "business side" of massage that’s currently stressing you out? Let’s get to work!

Aloha Tammy! That’s a big move. Adding a studio to your outcall business is going to be a game-changer for your schedule. I have an office in a chiro clinic too... here is what’s worked for me. 1. Take care of the staff Some of my best clients have been referrals from the chiropractor and the receptionist. You need to get them on your table for free. When a patient is checking out and mentions they’re still sore, you want the front desk to be able to say, "I just had a session with Tammy and she's exactly who you need to see." If they haven't felt your work, they won't know how to talk about it. 2. Eye-level marketing I put rack cards right by the door at eye level so people can't miss them on the way out. I personally highlight a 20% 1st-time offer specifically for the chiro patients. We will go over creating the perfect rack card in a later training, but for now, just make sure that offer is the first thing they see. 3. The "Soft Tissue" connection The best way to get the chiropractor to refer to you is to show them how your work makes their adjustments better. If the soft tissue is locked up, it’s just going to pull things back out of place. Once the chiro realizes your work helps the adjustment stay longer, they’ll start sending people your way naturally. 4. New patient outreach See if you can get a card or a voucher into their new patient intake paperwork. Being there from day one makes you part of their overall treatment plan instead of an afterthought. It sounds like you’re going to be busy. Good luck with the opening! Lets us know how it goes!
New Video Live!: Why we’re actually here.
I just dropped Session 2 in the classroom! We’re diving into why this space exists and why I chose to build this on Skool instead of a typical Facebook group. We’re talking about the "Round Table" philosophy and why proximity is the ultimate power move for your career. If you’re tired of the social media noise and ready to actually move the needle on your business, go check it out. Once you’ve watched it: Introduce yourself and share your background. Let us know what you're working toward right now—whether that’s hitting your first client goals or finally finding the confidence to charge what you're worth. Let’s get to work.

Advice for New Therapists:
When you're first starting out, it's easy to get overwhelmed with the technicalities and the business details of being a massage therapist and trying to 'make it'. I recently had a discussion with a new therapist that brought this to the forefront. The key to moving forward is simplicity. - Quantity Leads to Quality: Give as many massages as you can. There is no substitute for "time on the table" to build your intuition and skills. - Never Stop Being a Student: Get massaged as often as possible. Treat every session as continuing education—take mental notes, experiment with new moves, and find experienced therapists who will give you the honest feedback that often disappears after school. - Find Your Style: Focus on becoming the best at what you love doing the most. Whether you start at a spa or go independent, treat your first year as an apprenticeship to find your unique edge. Let's keep the conversation going! What advice would you add for new therapists? Share your thoughts in the comments below!

I am glad you’re here for the ground floor. My vision for this community is to bring back the best parts of the massage school experience... the collective support, the direct feedback, and a space where we can collaborate on the strategies that actually work. Since we are in the early stages, you are much more than a member; you are a co-creator and a witness to how this community takes shape. We’re going to build this out in a way that is both fun and highly productive, ensuring every lesson helps you build a successful and sustainable career. Thank you for being a founding member and trusting the vision. Let’s get to work.
