Do one thing today.
Do one thing today. Not ten things badly while worrying about the other twenty. Choose one thing that would make today slightly different from yesterday—and finish it. It doesn’t have to change your life. It just has to prove that you can still direct it. One completed action creates more movement than a day full of intention.

Exercise is a great way to start this. It can even be as simple as walking around your block for 20 minutes. Accomplishment and showing you are still capable of beginning and finishing something does wonders for mental health.

Sample Member Response — Lesson 1 The last time I intentionally sat in silence for ten minutes was probably several months ago. I usually reach for my phone whenever things get quiet. The constant news, social media, financial pressure, and feeling that I should always be accomplishing something overwhelm me the most. I invite scrolling, YouTube, and background television into my life. Work messages, notifications, advertising, and other people’s expectations feel more imposed on me. Peace would look like waking up without immediately checking my phone, knowing what deserves my attention, and being able to finish the day without feeling like I missed something important. When was the last time you sat in silence for 10 minutes? During the ten-minute exercise, my mind kept looking for stimulation. I felt restless at first, but then I began noticing how many unfinished thoughts I carry around. I’m starting to understand that I may not be broken—I may simply be adapting to too much noise.

It wasn't too long ago for me. But recently I have fallen out of practice. However, there are times when on my way to work or on my way home from work I will drive with no music. It's quite peaceful

One book that I've read at the beginning of this hear was "The Untethered Soul" by Michael A. Singer. This book has been a genesis for a spiritual and transformative journey that I have just embarked on within the last 6 months or so. This has led me to connect with like minded people on instagram, begin posting my own content, and led me to groups like this. I highly recommend "The Untethered Soul".
