🔓 Monday Release: Permission for Yourself
Before anything else today — before the week pulls you in every direction — I want you to do something for yourself. Find a quiet moment. Even just two minutes. Tap gently on the side of your hand and say out loud — or just in your mind: "Even though the week has started and there is more to do, I have permission for myself to be myself, I deeply and completely accept myself." Say it three times as you tap the side of your hand. Slowly. Mean it even if it feels strange. Then touch the eight points and say 'permission to be myself' at each point. Top of head. Eyebrow. Side of eye. Under eye. Under nose. Chin. Collarbone. And finally the hug. Then take one long breath out. That's your release for today. Not fixing anything. Not solving anything. Just acknowledging where you are — and accepting yourself there. You have permission for yourself...to be yourself. There may be more to do, more you wish you could do, more you have to do...but first, you have permission to be YOU. Notice what comes up when you say it. Does part of you resist it? Does something feel tight? That resistance is information. That's the pattern. Drop a 🌿 below if you're doing this with us today.

I had to give myself permission to make decisions. There are so many different pathways I could choose, and I had to give myself permission to make the choice that fits me best. (I still haven't decided, but still). Grad school is hard
Restore Friday 🌿You Don't Have To Keep Carrying It
It's okay to let it go. You've been holding a lot this week. Maybe it's a conversation that didn't go the way you hoped. A feeling you pushed down to get through the day. A worry you've been carrying so long it just feels normal now. Restoration isn't about fixing anything today. It's about softening. Today's invitation: Find a quiet moment — even just 60 seconds. Place your hand on your heart. Take three slow breaths. And whisper to yourself: I'm allowed to put this down. You don't have to resolve it. You don't have to understand it. You just have to be willing to loosen the grip, even a little. Because here's what I've seen: people hold onto things that were never theirs to carry in the first place. Sometimes trying to get everything done. Sometimes trying to keep everything together. Sometimes trying to put the pieces back. But you were not meant to carry everything. And even when something is yours to carry — you don't have to carry it all the time. You can put it down, even for a minute, and let yourself restore. Because sometimes the missing piece isn't doing more. It's the restoration of ourselves. That's where the LifeSet framework meets us — in that tiny moment of willingness. The body already knows how to release. We just have to give it permission. 🌿 Drop a 💛 below if you're choosing to restore today. I'm here with you.

There's actually some fascinating neuroscience behind why this works. When we slow down and deliberately release tension, the prefrontal cortex — the part of your brain running your to-do list and holding everything together — gets to step back. And what's interesting is that's exactly when your default mode network kicks in. That's the part of your brain that works in the background, making connections, processing emotions, solving problems you've been white-knuckling all week. Your brain doesn't stop working when you rest. It switches modes. And some of its most important work happens in that quieter state. So when Jackie says put it down — she means it literally. Your brain will keep working. You just won't have to. 🌿

🔥 SATURDAY BREAKTHROUGH 🌿
Take 1 minute. Look at what you did this week. 👇 Drop your answers in the comments — I read every single one. 💛 This week I released: _______________ Something that shifted, even slightly: _______________ One thing I'm choosing to believe about myself today: _______________ I'll start. 🌿 This week I released the pressure to have everything figured out before I begin. What shifted? I took one breath before I responded instead of reacting. And today I'm choosing to believe that showing up imperfectly is still showing up. Your turn. Drop it below. 👇 Because here's what I know after 20 years of this work — the moment you name it, you begin to release it. And what you release this week is making room for something bigger. ALSO! Most of the time we are so busy looking at what is left to do that we ignore what we have ALREADY accomplished! Your breakthrough is being built right now. One week at a time. 💛🌿 — Jackie P.S. Something is coming inside LifeSet that goes much deeper than what we do here. A dedicated space for clearing the events still running underneath your stress. Stay close — more soon. 🌿

I'm going first too. 🔥 This week I released the story that being busy means I'm being productive. Those are not the same thing and my nervous system has been trying to tell me that for months. What shifted? I caught myself mid-spiral on Thursday and instead of pushing through I did one round of tapping. Two minutes. That's it. And the spiral stopped. One thing I'm choosing to believe today: slowing down is not falling behind. It's how I do my best work.

Have you ever noticed how a worry spiral can take over your whole body? Your shoulders creep up. Your stomach tightens. Your mind races and you can't seem to slow it down — even when you know there's nothing actually wrong right now. That's not weakness. That's your amygdala doing exactly what it was designed to do. It can't tell the difference between a lion in the room and a thought in your head. So it treats both the same — cortisol spikes, digestion slows, muscles brace for impact. All because of a thought. This is why I love EFT tapping so much. It doesn't ask you to push the thought away or replace it with something positive. It works with your nervous system — sending a calming signal directly to that alarm center while you're still thinking the stressful thought. That's not magic. That's neuroscience. 🌿 Try this gentle sequence with me right now — you don't need to name anything specific. Just let your body follow along: Karate chop point — say this 3 times: "Even though I have this thought, right here, right now I'm okay." Now tap through each point: 🔹 Top of head — Right here, right now I'm okay 🔹 Eyebrow — Right here, right now I'm okay 🔹 Side of eye — Right here, right now I'm okay 🔹 Under eye — Right here, right now I'm okay 🔹 Under nose — Right here, right now I'm okay 🔹 Chin — Right here, right now I'm okay 🔹 Collarbone — Right here, right now I'm okay 🔹 Under arm — Right here, right now I'm okay Take a breath. 🌿 You don't have to dig into anything. You don't have to figure it out. This sequence just gives your nervous system permission to come back online — so you can get moving again. That tiny shift you feel? That's real. That's your body responding. Drop a 🌿 in the comments if you tried it. I'd love to know how it landed for you.

This one really speaks to me. As someone who does a lot, graduate school applications, building LifeSet alongside my mom, community work, church, theater, martial arts, writing my novel...I love what I do. But sometimes it's a lot. And my nervous system sometimes lets me know: I've done enough, I need support. If I didn't listen to my body, I know I wouldn't burn out entirely, but I would struggle. Then this EFT becomes my lifeline. It doesn't make my schedule easier. It doesn't make my do to list shorter. But at the end, I feel better able to do everything I want to do. I tell my nervous system: I am okay. And then my body believes me, because I am okay. And then I can go on. I've done fancier tapping. Longer sessions. Deeper dives. And those have their place. But honestly? Some days this is the one. Two minutes, no agenda, no excavating anything. Just permission to come back online.
🌿 RESTORE FRIDAY
You made it. And I mean that in more ways than one. Here's something I want you to know before the weekend starts: Rest is not a reward for finishing everything. It is a biological requirement. Your nervous system cannot process, integrate, or heal while it is still running on overdrive. And most of us spend the weekend in a version of overdrive we've just learned to call "relaxing." 🧠 Did you know? Your brain consolidates learning, emotion, and experience during periods of genuine rest — not during sleep alone, but during any state where your nervous system shifts into parasympathetic mode. That peaceful, unhurried feeling isn't laziness. It's when the growth actually happens. This weekend, I want to invite you to restore on purpose. Not crash. Not numb. Restore. 🌱 Drop in the comments: What is ONE way you are genuinely filling your cup this weekend? 👇 I will go first. And if you are not sure where to start, our free 5 Two-Minute Resets are in the community resources — grab one for tonight. 💛
