Last week of2025. Wow. Our next check in will be 2026. Did you make some time to sketch or practice this week? I know this time of year is heavy for a lot of people's shedules. Post specific work you want reviewed in by midnight tonight (US Eastern). If you want to help me, organize your work in one post in this thread. Thank you 🙏✍️🎨

My apologises but no work from me this week. The flu finally struck Colin and me down big time. Not easy looking after 3 high energetic kids and 1 high energetic 3-legged cat! Thankfully kids haven’t caught it although Ezzy’s been having minor episodes with her floppy windpipe but hoping it doesn’t go further than that. Hopefully be back to normal and drawing next week. Wishing everyone a Happy New Year when it comes!

2025 is almost over. How did you this week? This month? Are you taking time off for holidays? I live alone, but I can imagine family obligations are heavy this time of year. Anyway, post specific work you want reviewed in by midnight tonight (US Eastern). If you want to help me, organize your work in one post in this thread. Thank you 🙏✍️🎨

This months been a bit quiet and had to take a mini break as along with holiday colds / flu (hubby think its flu I've been dealing with this last week since had the chills as well as cold) its not just Xmas but birthday month for 4 out of 5 of us so planning is heavy going and has practically taken the last few weeks to get organised. Hubby's birthday was 12th Dec, Ezzy my daughter is tomorrow, mine Xmas Eve and Aussie my oldest 7th Jan. After what's going to be a mentally stressful and non relaxing day at my parents house on Boxing Day looking forward to getting back into swing of things and starting drawing again daily as really have been missing it. It's my art therapy and keeps me sane and it is something I love doing. :D Wishing everyone a very Merry Xmas and Happy New Year when it comes!

Thank you for your feedback. Still having issues with drawing long and short axis especially on tilted angles as I keep drawing the angle off and pointing it down automatically flattening and distorting drawing for some reason but it gives me motivation to keep working at it until something clicks and it becomes invisible. Thinking of the long and short crossed axis in 'T' shape is helping prompt me. I left the jaws curved / rounded on purpose this time around as I was focusing solely on rhythm exercise so wasn't sure if the square jaw falls under planes which is this weeks focus along with my project thumbnails, otherwise would have drawn the boxy jaw shapes. I'm really enjoying drawing asian faces especially as it's giving me a different perspective and outlook. It's also helping me study faces of this origin to help build my Magnus character. Since it's out of my comfort zone thought why not challenge myself and combine my studies with project since one of my characters is of this origin. The Asian actor community is on a smaller scale but thriving and building. They even have their own Film Awards. There are also some amazing hidden talented actors, a few how even won big film awards over time. I even found a google list with over 50+ lead asian males alone which is amazing and inspirational.
