Give me a GIF...
Some of the most important elements of presenting are body language, mindset, and how you feel on stage. If you’ve followed David for a while, you already know this: these are not fixed traits. They’re skills. And skills can be trained by anyone. They are not simply “wired” into our brains forever. The most powerful way to train your brain into the settings you want is surprisingly simple: small, consistent habits. Nothing more. Nothing less. So here’s my challenge to you (and I’ll do it too): 👉 Every day until the end of January, find one fun GIF that represents the body language, mindset, feeling, or presence you want to have when presenting. 👉 Then, imitate that GIF once yourself. 👉 Preferably somewhere private 😄 Small actions. Daily repetition. Big impact. Who’s in? 💪🎥

Speaking in a foreign country
Have you ever spoken in a foreign country? How did it go? How did you prepare? I am asking because I know there was a political issue where an american politician Said something that caused outrage in a different country and his visit got cancelled. Sometimes one phrase can be good thing in a country and bad in another. So as a speaker We should be prepared on what to say or what not to say. Let’s discuss!

What’s one thing that instantly makes a speaker more engaging?
When you observe others, what makes you go ''wow''? Or what makes you remember it longer?

Audience engagement, telling relatable stories & making a few jokes often goes down well. I was training 20 people on Monday about presenting themselves in a professional manner and I said to them “ it may look like I’m an expert standing at but I’m petrified standing here “ . Everyone laughed and said yeh right we don’t believe you . The murmur was loud and it lightened up the room a lot . Had to beg them to settle down and keep quiet 🤣🤣
