Soul Tie
What is Ifá's perspective on what many people call "soul ties"? Is there an equivalent concept within the tradition, or is it understood differently? Also, if someone unknowingly did something that created a spiritual bond or attachment with their current spouse or partner, how would Ifá view that? Is there a way to identify whether that connection is beneficial or unhealthy? If it isn't serving either person, are there ceremonies, ebó, or other spiritual practices that can help dissolve or transform that bond? I'm asking from a place of learning and respect, not trying to mix traditions or assume they're the same. I'd appreciate hearing how elders and practitioners understand this from an Ifá perspective.

@Josephine Gomez I absolutely love this question
Medical Procedure's
Bendiciones Baba Victor , I know you’ve shared videos on TikTok about protecting yourself when going to the hospital— I wanted to ask if there’s anything you recommend doing to prepare before a medical procedure that requires undergoing anesthesia? Thank you for any guidance you can offer.

@Baba Victor thank you so much
Spiritual Development Questions
Bendiciones Everyone! I've decided to add a "Spiritual Development" tab to our Skool. But before I start creating content, I want to hear from you. I don’t want to assume I know what you need. I want to actually listen. So tell me: What are your biggest spiritual development questions right now? No question is too basic. No question is silly. And please don’t feel like you have to already know the “right words” to ask. Just tell me what you’re wondering, what you’re struggling with, what you’re curious about, or what you wish someone would explain in a simple, grounded way. Your questions will help me create content that is actually useful for you — not just random lessons, but teachings that meet you where you are. Drop your spiritual development questions below, and I’ll use them to start building out this new section for our community. I’m excited about this. 🤍

Bendiciones Afefe, Thank you for all the teachings you’ve shared so far. I’ve completed several of the courses, including The Art of Spirit Communication, How to Elevate Your Ancestors in the Right Way, The 16 Principles of Ifá, and Beginner’s Guide to Understanding Ori. They’ve given me a lot of insight and understanding, especially as someone who is still new to this path. One question I have is about proper respect and etiquette. For students who are learning and participating in the community but have not yet been initiated, crowned, or received any ceremonies from Baba Victor or yourself, what is the proper way to acknowledge or address our teachers? Is there a traditional or respectful way that beginners should approach this? Thank you for creating this space for us to learn and grow.Bendiciones. 🤍

Bendiciones @Afefe Guzman & @Baba Victor . I was wondering if you had any readings available for this month? Baba’s calendar is booked up until middle of July 😩😬

@Baba Victor My sentiments exactly lol 😬🤍
New here 🤍
I just wanted to take a moment to thank Baba Victor and Afefe for creating a safe space for people like myself to learn without judgement. Growing up, I was exposed to many things on my paternal grandmother’s side regarding Santeria/Lukumi, and even from a young age I felt spiritually different. However, it was something frowned upon by my father, he always stated Catholicism was the way to go just pray to god. Therefore I never really had the guidance or support to explore it openly. Because of that, I had to navigate life on my own for a long time, which led me down some difficult paths. Over the years, I took it upon myself to learn however I could, through books, classes in Puerto Rican culture and Folklore, personal study, and even readings. Some experiences with (readings) taught me valuable lessons about discernment and the importance of finding reputable teachers and genuine community. I truly hope to gain the insight, wisdom, and spiritual growth thats needed to one day become part of the Ifa community. Thank you for welcoming me here. Im grateful to be in a space where learning is encouraged with patience and respect. Apologies if I was long winded. Lol 🤍

@Dr. Tina P Thank you, Dr. Tina. I couldn’t agree more. This experience has been incredibly eye-opening, and I’ve learned so much in such a short period of time. I’m grateful for the guidance, wisdom, and sense of community that Baba Victor and Afefe Guzman have created.
