Autism in the real world
Many times we see ourselves and know that we are doing the best we can. But how do children and adults with autism feel? As a teacher I have often seen strides and setbacks that affect students who are on the spectrum. As a teacher and a parent of someone with autism, I strive to have communities, society, and real world experiences offered to help see autism and be accepting for their life. How does this happen? It happens with learning how to see the world through the eyes of someone with autism. I will be creating a classroom that helps parents and caregivers become more involved in how to understand the needs and wants of a person with autism. Having the tools to become better understanding of how they see the world will help communication so everyone can traverse the world today. It’s not about what they need to know, but also how parents and caregivers can help themselves understand their world.

Welcome I am just starting at this new Skool thing so give me some time I will have more up.
Good morning and welcome
I just want to say that in our community we support and help each other as we maneuver through the school district with all the stringent rules and regulations. Here we can discuss what you need as a student, a parent, or even as a teacher to help the strategies flow and as we get better and stronger as a Community. Let me help you understand the lingo, the anagrams and what you can do to help the students we care for.
