Guess the Remedy: The Midnight Chicken Attack 🐔💔UPDATED
Early last week we were awakened in the middle of the night — 1:30 am to be exact — by my son came to get us and told us that something had gotten our chickens. 😨 We only had 3 birds. We’re still not sure how the little coop door got opened, but my son’s bedroom faces the backyard and he heard the terrible commotion. He ran upstairs, woke us up, and said he had scared whatever it was away… and that there was a chicken laying on its back. When we all got downstairs, that chicken was already gone. 😢 Whatever it was came back and took her away. We only found one bird left in the yard. She was so terrified she was impossible to catch. We figured the creature had already had a two-course meal and probably wouldn’t come back, so we left her alone for the night. Then at 3:00 am… my son woke us up again. It had gotten the other chicken. He scared it off once more, and this time the chicken was lying against the fence in the yard. Down the stairs we ran. My husband checked her and said, “She’s alive!” 🙌 He gently laid her back in the coop and I quickly put a remedy in her water. My son was pretty shaken up too, so he took a remedy as well. Can you guess what I gave the chicken? And can you guess what remedy my son took? And why did I chose this remedy? I think you know this one well… 😉 Come back tomorrow — I’ll update this post with what I gave them and how our little survivor is doing now. 🐣💛YOU GUESSED IT! WE USED ACONITE 200 FOR THE CHICKEN AND MY SON. I PUT IT IN THE CHICKENS WATER AND MY SON TOOK 2 DOSES AND WENT TO BED. THE NEXT DAY MY SON WAS STILL A BIT STRESSED BY WHAT HE SAW AND TOOK ANOTHER DOSE! The chicken (Flopsy) had it in her water for a couple of days and just layed around and didn't eat much but by the 3rd day she was back doing her chicken thing, scratching around her coop and making her chicken sounds. ACONITE DON'T LEAVE HOME WITHOUT IT.

Aconite could go for both but maybe I would have given the chicken Aconite and the Son both Ignatia and Aconite!

Guess the Remedy: Naughty Kitty 🐱🕵️‍♀️ UPDATE: the winner is:
Years ago, before we knew any better about poisons, with no pets in the house and a pest 🪲 problem in the kitchen, an exterminator came to handle the bugs🪲. He tucked some poison way back in a lower cupboard that we only used for cleaning supplies. Fast forward about 20 years… and now we have a pet cat 🐈‍⬛. I think you can guess what happened. Our little troublemaker did something she had never done before: she opened that cupboard and crawled right in. We didn’t see her do it, but we caught her coming out in the morning. No big deal, right? We’d ditched all the toxic cleaners ages ago and only had some Norwex dishwasher cleaner and a few flower vases in there. We thought nothing of it. A few hours later, though… she was acting lethargic, just laying around all the time. The big red flag? She always comes running when we call her name. This time she just looked up at me with those “I’m not feeling so hot” eyes. 😳 Lightbulb moment: she must have gotten some of that ancient bug poison on her paws and licked it off. Classic curious-cat move. I grabbed the appropriate remedy and started dosing right away. Four doses 15 minutes apart… she perked up a little but still wasn’t herself. So I kept going throughout the day, dosing every hour. By evening? Back to her old mischievous self! 🎉🐾 So… what remedy did I give her? come back tomorrow for an update where I share the remedy I gave!...........Arsenicum Album 200C is what we used! it is a great remedy for poisoning. You cuold have used it in a 30C but for poisoning like this I go for a 200C its also great for food poisoning! Good job everyone!

Arsenicum 200 is what I would have used!
Guess the remedy..... Too Much Brie Cheese 🧀🤢 UPDATED👇Answer at the bottom!
This past week my husband and I had a late lunch and decided a simple snack would do for dinner. I remembered I had a nice brick of Brie in the fridge and a box of organic crackers. So I heated up the Brie in the oven (our absolute favorite way to eat it!) and we settled in for our evening treat while watching a show. Well… I overdid it. I mean way overdid the Brie and crackers. 🫠 Shortly after, my stomach got bloated and started hurting. I did what I usually do in these situations and took a dose of Lycopodium 200C. Nothing. I took 4–5 more doses over the next couple of hours… still nothing. Just that stubborn bloating and pain right in the middle of my stomach. This always worked in the past, but not this time.😫 I was getting ready for bed, wondering how on earth I was going to sleep with this pain, sitting up with my remedy kit next to me… and then one remedy popped into my mind. Honestly, I didn’t think it would help, but I took a dose anyway. Guess what? With that one single dose I fell asleep and slept through the night and woke up the next morning feeling great! 🙌 So… what remedy did I take? 🤔 put your answer below and I will post an update tomorrow with the remedy I chose! ....You all have such good guesses, well since the Lycopodium didn't act, I went straight for my Nux vomica 200C, I was surprised when I woke up feeling good! Why I chose nux, I had overdone it, over ate and that is my go to.
