Been wrestling with canceling Bible study since some things that have come up…I thought I’d just get on here and say see you next week ladies and leave it at that. Maybe it’s because my parents named me after Hannah (the latter part of my name) that I just love her story in 1Samuel and that’s where we hung out today—declaring the word of the Lord while not being afraid to be honest about how things just suck sometimes. The Bible literally says that Hannah was bitter AND SO she PRAYED AND WEPT. Sis, you don’t have to get it together to come to the Lord. There’s nothing to hide because He knows and see it all anyway. I encourage you to truly allow yourself to be honest and know that even the sorrowful and bitter situations are bringing about a greater intimacy with Him. It will all work FOR you. The good and the not so awesome. Trust that you can be FULLY you and allow God to comfort your deepest wounds. He is a healer for real, so don’t worry about being while before Him.
