GST on Imported Goods Paid Through CARM Portal
GST on imported Goods Hello everyone, Does anyone know the correct way to record or enter GST paid on imported goods through the CBSA CARM portal in NetSuite. I’d like to make sure the GST paid at import is properly captured and credited on our GST return. Any guidance or best practices would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Lisa, thank you for your feedback This is exactly how we enter the CARM (since April 2025). Good to know that others are doing it the same way. The original post must be in a province where they are charged 13 percent, however. We are only charged 5 percent by border services. They also seem to report quarterly, while we report monthly. But the concept is the same.
