Local meeting/conference planner recommendations?
Hi all - just joined! My husband and I just moved our family and businesses to Scottsdale from Los Angeles to be in a more pro-business, pro-personal freedoms and family-friendly state. 🔥 Excited to connect with you all, learn about your businesses, and help where I can. For context our businesses are in: - Real estate syndication (currently only looking at multi-family deals in PHX Metro area) - Capital raising education (online courses, masterminds) primarily for real estate - Growth consulting for 7-figure businesses - Hotel contract negotiation for corporate meetings and conferences (I do this for fun but don’t currently market it broadly) My current biggest challenge: I need to hire a local corporate meeting/conference planner for an upcoming mastermind meeting in October. I’ve run these with our internal team in the past as I have a background in conference planning, but looking to replace myself and would love to find someone locally as most of my network is in LA & SF + we are moving most of our member events here (3 per year local and 1 per year in Mexico). This is contract, project-based as we don’t do enough events right now to justify hiring a FTE. Important Note: Must have a meeting/conference planning background, no wedding planners or party planners (even corporate party/mixer planners won’t do it - must have specific experience planning multi-day events with educational sessions).
