Two years of my life
This is the first video where i now used all my tools. Mics, cameras, drones, I’m Bringing the big guns for my first real stortytelling moment about my life. Please bring your critiques and criticism. Also if you liked parts, that’s good too! 😂 https://youtu.be/-2dRdiRQTcs

I love this video. It's powerful and moving. Well done. My one critique is that it makes a promise in the title, and doesn't pay it off. You say "I gave it two years, was it worth it?" But you don't tie that up with a bow at the end. You missed a chance to say, "was it worth it? hell yeah".
This video is GOLD
Holy shit, this young girl has cracked the code on Youtube shorts and is basically sharing it all with us! Jay Clouse brings a killer conversation with this one:

This video is in fact, gold. She has crystalized storytelling into 34sec chunks. I love the attention to detail and analysis she has done. What's fun is that every word of her framework is just classic storytelling. If you talk with any novelist, or TV writer, or movie screenwriter, or even longform video maker, they all have the same elements. She's just figured out how to do that in 34 secs. All that said, she's trying to do something that's different from what I (and I suspect many of us) are trying to do. She's trying to entertain and get views. So she's optimizing for that -- and killing it. I wonder how that analysis and attention to detail is different when it's not entertainment, but other objectives? Like sales, or education, or ...? Thanks for sharing it, she's infectious, even in just an interview.
How much focus do you put on SEO?!
I'm curious. As you are creating titles or descriptions or doing tagging - how much are you taking SEO into consideration? Or is that not a consideration at all??? 🤷

Not a lot. On YT I spend a good amount of time wrestling with the Title. And I sweat the thumbnail. Lately I’ve been using the thumb A/B test (uploading a couple-three thumbs). I also try to put a smattering of hashtags in the description. But I saw something that said they do most of the SEO internally based off the video content (transcribed automatically). So I don’t sweat it a lot. That said , I jet bupkis for views, so I’m not a reliable source 🤣
Bavaria Germany in Washington? Feedback!
My friends! My third video is coming out this morning and it’s all about the town of Leavenworth Washington. My final video shot with no mic and just on my iPhone! Give me all that juicy critique please! Germany in Washington? https://youtu.be/2tLn0Iib6js

Again, another solid video. Two critiques come to mind, one larger than the other. The small nit is again, the variance in the sound levels. It's not that it's on the iPhone mic, it's that in some scenes you can be heard really well, in others it's quite a bit quieter. In the edit, just see where the volume is and crank it up a little in those spots. The larger thing is this one feels like it didn't have a "theme" or "story". The "bag o' dicks" had a theme, and a play on that. The first one had a beginning, middle, end. This one feels sorta like it's just a travel log. Not sure what the hook is, or how the "I can afford it" wrap up ties back in. You start with the "why Germany in Washington" but then move on to things to do/avoid, then a social commentary on consumerism. Feels pretty stream-of-consciousness. Again, it's a very solid video, I'm liking the 3-5 min length, nice and bite-sized.

@Jon Levesque I _love_ that theme. Much more a -> b.
