one of the fun things about being an artist is going to workshops and playing. Today a local art store near me hosted a Daniel Smith watercolor workshop where the brand ambassador talked about how they make their special paints using semi precious minerals into watercolors. Did you know they have 17 years worth of minerals and tubes in storage. Crazy! We got to play with a few mineral paints and their stick. The stick is the same as the tubes and pans. Apparently the stick is cheaper and does well for those who travel especially on air planes. Have you painted with Daniel Smiths paints?

Here’s another art project that will be part of the Autumn Escape watercolor summit. which we will be opening up for sign ups. Would you want to paint this?
