Leashes
Hey Everyone! It seems like there is a lot of debate on what is the best leash setup. What do you all recommend? Ankle or calf leash, straight or coiled? Waist board leash, waist wing leash, both waist, wrist leash? Let me know what you like.

@Gokhan Sorguc I was thinking more for wing foiling. I come from kiting but am brand new to winging.

@Jake Kelsick do you have any advice?
First wing board
Hey All! I’m just getting into wing foiling and the last thing I need to purchase is the board. There seems to be a lot of opinions online about how big you should go. I’m 80kg, have the 1850north MA, and will be going off the beach in Florida with light chop. Is 110L a good option or do I need to be looking at 125L. From what I’m reading, it seems like you learn on the large board and then will want to downsize. What are your recommendations/thoughts/advice? Thanks!!!

@Jake Kelsick awesome thanks !!
North 1500R front wing?
Hey guys, I’m looking at these black Friday deals and see a north 1500R front wing for sale. I wanted to use it to learn wing foiling. Would that wing work? I can currently kite foil, but I’ve never tried winging. Also, could I use it to surf behind the boat? What is this wing good for? I’m 80kg

Or I see the north MA1350, would that be a better choice than the 1500R?

@Jake Kelsick hey! Yeah I ended up getting the 1500R. I’m hoping because I have foiling experience already that the 1500 will still be big enough for me to learn. I was also thinking of getting a 6 m wing here in Florida, our winds are usually 15 to 20. Thoughts/suggestions?

I think the thing that helped the most was just time on the water. I remember jumping and not being able to think of anything while in the air and then with time I was able to think about where the Kite is what am I doing with my body and I don’t think that awareness comes from anything other than time, at least for me.
