Get me 'out the box's ideas
My inventory system is numbered and I buy the pre made rolls, however if I get multiples of the same item, which I do, it leaves me with an issue of how to put them in the system. At the moment I have separate boxes for multi's then once one is left I number it into the main system. Can anyone give me a better solution?
Angry Sellers!
Had a bit of an awkward situation today and I'm curious what others think. Found a bloke on Facebook Marketplace selling some really nice clothes at a great price. We agreed on a deal, I paid, collected them, and went home happy thinking I'd picked up a bargain. Later that evening, I listed some of the items on Vinted for more than I'd paid because I knew they were worth a bit more. In hindsight, maybe doing it the same day wasn't my smartest move! Not long after, I started getting some pretty angry messages from the original seller through my Vinted account. He felt I'd been dishonest and was annoyed that I was making a profit from items I'd bought from him. My view is that once a sale is agreed and completed, the items belong to the buyer. But I can also understand why seeing them relisted a few hours later for more money might leave a bad taste. Has anyone else had a similar experience? 😂 Who's in the right here?

I would say what I say to anyone who turns their nose up at reseller.. do you moan when you get the food shop, that tesco have made money from food they sold you. Course not that's how the world works, he sold at a price he was happy with, it's the same with the charity shop thing, people say it's out of order to make money on that stuff but my view is they have a price I'm willing to pay and that they want. Done deal
Introduction
Hi everyone, I’m John, 34, based in Sunderland. I’ve been reselling part-time for a while now, but lately I’ve really struggled with motivation to keep up with listing. Both of my parents are terminally ill with cancer, so balancing their care alongside everything else has been a massive weight to carry, and reselling naturally took a backseat. I decided to join this community to surround myself with like-minded people, pick up some fresh hints and tips, and hopefully find the spark to regain my drive and get back into the rhythm of things. Looking forward to connecting with you all and learning along the way!

Hi John, sorry to hear about your situation. You are definitely in the right place, keep positive bud.
Best improvement you have brought into your business?
I was pondering this yesterday and I wondered what everyone else would say as it's relevant, no matter where you are in the journey. I'll go first, the best thing I have done for my business is.....take on extra earning potential.. so about a month ago I started doing Uber eats, I'm a 'full time' seller but at the earlier stages so cash flow is always a pinch point. Time is something I had, so I started doing evenings which easily fits around work, school kids etc. But what it's given me is a faster rate of growth as I have available cash flow, and a decreased pressure on those sales coming in. Yes it's 2 'jobs' but it's not hard work really. I realize this is started to sound like an advert, it's not, ebay full time is absolutely the daily. But an extra 1/2/3 hundred a week which can be put into stock helps that scaling curve. I feel like this is a safe place to be honest and I'm not embarrassed by doing it, running a business is tough and it's definitely not a smooth line to success. I would be interested to hear what other people have done, it could be a; listing system, inventory system, time management, sourcing strategy whatever. Could be anything and hopefully it will help spread ideas which is why we are here right.

@Leanne Little sure does, I'm always itching to get back to work after a holiday
Should You Buy Items Outside Your Niche If They Sell Fast? 🤔
I’m a big believer in knowing your niche, but what happens when you find something outside it that you know will sell quickly? Do you stick to your niche or buy it anyway because the sell-through is strong? What would you do? 👇

If I know for sure then yes I would go for it, I can't leave cheap sealed blank media or echo dots behind.
