EIN
If I already have an EIN for one of my businesses do I need to get another one for this business? I went to the IRS website to obtain one but its saying that they cant issue me one at this moment. Im wondering if its because I already have one. These are for DBAs and not LLCs

@Teresa Bruton thank you for your input. In the course it says you don’t need an LLC until you start making money so I plan to do that in the future.
Just signed my THIRD carrier
That makes 3 total: two cargo vans + a **40’ hotshot trailer. I’m posting this for the person watching from the sidelines thinking, “I don’t know where to start.” Start messy. Start scared. Start with what you have. Then stay consistent. Because momentum doesn’t come from motivation — it comes from moves. If I can build this in a month, you can build yours too. Drop a 🔥 if you’re next.

Did you mainly use facebook ads to find them?
LOADBOARD ACCESS
Can I get on DAT or Truckstop loadboards WITHOUT an MC or DoT number? Neither my nor my carriers' number? (I don't want to ask my carrier for their loadboard access because I don't want to look like a rookie...)

The videos in the classroom insist on using the carriers access. Let me know how this works for you. I believe in the videos it also says 123 or truck loads don’t require MC.
DRIVING BACK HOME Question?
If for example a load is paying $1300 for 500 miles, that's 2.60 per mile...but the carrier obviously has to drive back so that's 1000 miles total....how does that work into their rate per mile?

I believe the goal is to find a load for the ride back. Avoid as much dead head as possible.
👋 Hi I'm Chris
Hey everyone, my name is Chris. I live in New York and I plan on making $8,334 per month dispatching trucks These are the 3 things I look forward to achieving from this course/community: 1.  Replace my 9-5 with my successful dispatching company that exceeds my current salary. 2.  Learn the dispatching business to become an expert so I can help others do the same and exit the rat race. 3.  Build a network and company that becomes self sufficient. For fun I like to do these 3 things: 1. Spending time and traveling with family & friends 2. Finding quality components that improve daily life 3. Music, movies, food, cars, sports and learning the intricate things in life What do you consider the most valuable at this point in your life?
