Golf Fitness what works?
Let’s talk golf fitness. What apps or programs have you tried, and which ones have actually made a difference in your game? More speed, better mobility, or just finishing 18 without feeling like you played 36? Bonus points for anything that’s helped your lower back stop complaining before the back nine. 😂 And what are the odds @Justin Kraft shows up next spring jacked like Rory?

Are you trying anything for your back pain that has helped? Asking for a friend 👀

@John Coleman ya send it over, I’ll try just about anything.
All things training aids!
Figured I'd get this discussion going, and listening to the Kickoff Call replay, I've used quite a few that were mentioned. I've been working with Justin for over a year and my main issue is my flying elbow so I've been on a mission to find a training aid to remedy the issue. Here's the list of what I have in my duffel bag of golf goodness. - WhyGolf Arm Alarm - WhyGolf Wrist-X - WhyGolf Alignment Mirror - Gankas Sports G-Snaps - PureSwing In-The-Slot trainer - Tour Swing Pro Swing Band - WhyGolf Putting Thing - WhyGolf Pressure Plate (similar to DownShift board) - TRS Slider - TRS Ball - TRS Stick - Pure Strike Golf Swing trainer (notched ball between the arms) That reads like I have a problem 😆. But I know my elbow is causing all sorts of other issues later in the swing so I'm determined to get it figured out. Let me hear what you all are using and what you've had success with!

Kickoff Call Tomorrow!
Will anyone be around to join our kickoff call tomorrow? The point of the kickoff call is to meet everyone, get a feel for what is holding back your golf games the most, and set some expectations around what this community looks like! Are there any specific questions from those who will not be able to make the call? I want to make sure the calls are helping all of you in the best way possible. We will also probably just chat and answer questions. There is no real agenda. You guys tell me what you want to learn and we will deep dive!

Most likely not going to be able to make it, but I had a question about building a swing to mostly favor one ball flight. I mostly play a cut, especially with longer clubs, and have built my swing for a cut. Occasionally I look at my swing and see characteristics that have been there a long time that favor more of a draw (mostly a decent amount of side bend at impact). So I guess my question is what characteristics do you look at in a player who plays one ball flight and think “he needs to start playing the opposite ball flight.”

@Justin Kraft Essentially yes! “I know you’re playing a cut, but I see X and Y and think we need to switch you around.” And vice versa. Thanks!!
Clubface is King 👑
Had a chat with a student today - he’s a high level player who plays at Illinois. He’s so fast. Driver is like 131mph. So naturally any clubface presentation mistakes are amplified. Controlling the face is his #1 issue. So I sent him this photo. Any thoughts on what he HAS to do vs the Pro on the right HAS to do to hit a straight shot? Who’s gonna have to slow the body down and twist the handle MORE to hit a straight shot? 🤔

Pro on the rights face is closed more so I’m saying he’ll have to turn more to keep that clubface square vs the college player on the left will have to be more square with his body at impact to slow the handle and get that clubface squared up.

@Justin Kraft ha well thankfully not a bears fan, but unfortunately I AM a Bengals fan… That would be great, I think it mostly comes from early extension and excessive side bend but 🤷🏽‍♂️. The tee ball issues are a bit hard to describe. I have a tendency to get a little long compared to irons with the driver and I kind of lose track of where the clubface is. Mostly a massive right miss when it’s really bad.
