Absolutely 💯 true on both cards! I was on the Robinhood Gold waitlist for 2 + years and I literally got an offer for 10k and I accepted it. They were giving out 15k to 20k but they have been getting stingy lately and folks were reporting limits at 5k or even less. I got the BILT in mid June and managed to get a 50k limit. Data points I have 1 inquiry with TU and that falls off in 2/27. I have 1 inquiry with EX and that falls of in 1/28 and I have 1 inquiry with EQ and it falls off this month. I obtained 6 cards this year and the only hard pull was on EX with BOA in January when I got the BOA Customized Cash for 21k and the Atmos Summit Infinite for 10k. I got the Apple card with no hard pull in January for 4k to get into the Chase ecosystem and I got the the Raketon card with no hard pull for 11.5k in July. So now I am gardening again for a year and preparing to get into the Wells Fargo and Citibank ecosystems. I will be trying to get into Wells Fargo on business side as well as Truist where I have a relationship on the personal side. I need to set up my new LLC and re-set 2 old LLCs that were mostly inactive due to a move.
Small Limits, nothing Significant!!!! 😪
I have excellent credit. 771 785 777 and I have an S Corp which was set up in 2017 with tradelines, 80 paydex, etc. When I apply for business credit cards, either I get denied or I get a small limit approval. I wonder what's the deal? Anyone? TIA

@Lenny Johnson I would do three things. First build the relationships that you already have secured by either starting a business checking account and savings account. You will need 5k to start in your checking and 5k in a business savings account and get a CD. Then go to a business account Mgr after 91 days. Meanwhile start gardening with smaller banks and credit unions until you get 3-5k until you have at 91 days. These folks want relationships. If nothing else you can probably get the equivalent of secured business loan and then turn that into a BLOC.

@Lenny Johnson Okay I am hearing data points in the community that the banks are getting hip to the consulting hack so you may have to adjust that SAIC code to a more low risk field. Some banks like certain fields more than others. Go online and research low risk codes that are used the least and then change your code with D&B first and then modify your your business with the state. It is a pain. I am doing it now.
Inquiry removal
Can I dispute 2 hard inquiries on my transunion if the accounts havent reported to my profile yet, on the personal side? I applied for 2 amex cards today at the same time and got 2 inquiries for both. or can i atleast remove one?

@Banetta F McDaniels I co-sign this. I had a double NavyFed inquiry and I ended up getting approved the second time around. It has grown to a little under 30k in less than two years plus a second card 2 months ago. Those 2 inquiries will fall off within the next 3 months as well as a 3rd inquiry. Only dispute the inquiries on denials. Low level business approvals are better than personal inquiries
Citizens Bank - 0% Introductory APR on Purchases for 12 Months
Just diving into some credit insights that might pique your interest. Recently, there’s been a lot of buzz about Citizens Bank and their generous lending practices this year, especially regarding their Business Credit Cards (BCC) and Business Lines of Credit (BLOC). Here’s the scoop: Citizens Bank is offering a 0% introductory APR on purchases for the first 12 months after account opening. It’s a sweet deal for anyone looking to make significant purchases or investments without the immediate burden of interest rates. From my connections, I've seen quite a few approvals flying around, and they’ve been pulling from Experian lately—switching up from Equifax. (Depends on your State) Not sure if that makes a difference in different states, but it’s something to keep in mind. And a quick heads up for anyone confused by the name 'Citizens Bank'—there’s a bit of a mix-up with another smaller bank of the same name that was taken over by the government in Iowa. But no worries, we’re talking about the big player here, not the small fry. I made sure to check the addresses and websites just to be clear. It’s funny how many banks share the same name, right? So, what’s your take on this? Has anyone jumped on this 0% APR deal yet? Also, any insights on whether these approvals are specifically for BCC or BLOC? I’m curious and considering whether to try filing as a foreign entity in a state they serve if needed. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts or any experiences you’ve had with Citizens Bank! Catch you in the comments!
