#First-IMC-Moment
Hi everyone! I am Zona. One Current Life Movement that brought me into IMC is learning how to navigate uncertainty with more self-trust and less dependence on having all the answers before I move. After a long career in education, leadership development, organisational psychology, and coaching, I find myself in a season of building something new. I'm exploring how we develop the inner capacities to navigate change, reinvention, and uncertainty, especially as entrepreneurs and humans living in a rapidly changing world. The friction I notice around this movement is the temptation to keep searching for the perfect map instead of trusting the next step that is available to me now. The best thing I can imagine happening through IMC is connecting with thoughtful people who are also learning to move in a way that is more aligned with who they are and deepening my own understanding of self-leadership through practice rather than theory. Optional: I currently live in the Netherlands after emigrating from South Africa three years ago. I love long walks in nature, meaningful conversations, learning, and exploring the intersection of psychology, human development, systems thinking, and what it means to stay human in a changing world. Here is a picture of my morning walk in Cape Town and our back garden, where I love to recharge and read when we visit there.

Zona, welcome again to IMC 🌿 I really love how clearly you named your Current Life Movement. “Learning how to navigate uncertainty with more self-trust and less dependence on having all the answers before I move” feels very close to the heart of what we explore here. Especially this friction you named — searching for the perfect map instead of trusting the next step that is available now — is such a real and important threshold. I also love the connection you bring between education, leadership development, organisational psychology, coaching, systems thinking, and staying human in a changing world. That feels deeply aligned with this Camp. My invitation would be: keep this Current Life Movement close as you move through the first lessons. Not as something you need to solve quickly, but as a real living field to explore. Again and again, you can simply come back to: What is moving now? Where is friction? What is the next natural step I can actually take? Very happy you’re here, and thank you for sharing these beautiful pictures from Cape Town and your garden. They already bring a lot of nature, depth, and presence into the Camp. 🌱
Welcome Jackie
Hey Jackie, welcome to the IMC Skill Game and IMC Self-Leadership challenge. I'm super grateful that you joined! Please feel free to have a look in the classroom and ask if there are any questions.
Welcome Zona
I am genuinely grateful and honored that you joined the IMC community in this early stage! One thing I have noticed over the years is that many coaches and lifelong learners do not necessarily need more information. Often the challenge is discovering how many different experiences, perspectives, and learnings fit together in a way that feels more coherent, alive, and useful in everyday life. My hope is that you may find one or two ideas inside the IMC Skill Game and the Movement Challenge that support your own exploration. Since you already have a strong background in leadership and self-leadership, feel free to skip Start Here and jump directly into the IMC Skill Game. Feel free to move through it slowly, at your own pace. If you feel like it, you can also skip and explore through the classroom and explore what resonates with you in this present moment. Thank you again for being here. Chris

@Zona Lord please feel free to ask when you feel like it or to give feedback if something is not working or not making sense. I’m grateful for any feedback, positives and negative to learn, improve and grow.
Founding Member Opportunity 🌱
Welcome to IMC Explorer Camp. I’m really glad you’re here. This space is for coaches and parents who want to practice Self-Leadership in real life — through movement, friction, responsibility, family, work, coaching and change. If you want to join as a Founding Member, check the plans here: https://www.skool.com/imc-international-mobile-coach-7881/plans IMC is still being built out right now. Some parts are already live. Some parts are being refined. And more lessons, resources, calls and deeper training paths will be added over time. Because we are still early, there is a unique opportunity right now: You can join as a Founding Member and keep your current membership rate for as long as your membership stays active. That means: As IMC Explorer Camp grows, and as more premium training, resources, calls and updates are added, your rate stays the same. If you want to join as a Founding Member, check the plans here: https://www.skool.com/imc-international-mobile-coach-7881/plans The current Founding Member access includes: ✅ IMC Skill Game ✅ IMC Movement Challenge ✅ IMC Friction Threshold Skill Training ✅ Weekly Campfire Coffee Hour & Collab Call ✅ Community Access ✅ Workbooks & Resources ✅ Future training updates The Friction Threshold Skill Training alone is one of the core trainings inside IMC. It helps you recognize movement, friction, protection patterns, capacity and the next natural step — so you can move through real life with more skill and less friction. The weekly Collab Call gives you a regular space to connect, reflect, ask questions, and stay in movement with the Camp. This is a good fit if you want to grow with IMC from the beginning and be part of the early foundation of the Camp. It is not a good fit if you only want to collect more content and never apply it. IMC is a practice field. We are here to move.
