Major Scale!
Major scale is made up of a major 2nd, major 3rd, perfect 4th, perfect 5th, major 6th, and major 7th. Major scale with a minor 3rd is Melodic Minor Major scale with a minor 3rd and a minor 6th is Harmonic Minor Major scale with a minor 3rd, a minor 6th, and a Minor 7th is the relative minor Major scale with a minor 3rd and minor 7th is the Dorian mode Major scale with a minor 7th is the Mixolydian mode Major scale with a flat 4 is the Lydian mode You get the idea ... EVERYTHING is relatable to the major scale. If you can master intervals on the fretboard, you can easily build every/any chord, play any arpeggio, and move through any scale and never hit a sour note.

Thanks for breaking this down for us!
๐ŸŽธ Welcome to TeleTime
Hey yโ€™all - glad youโ€™re here. This community goes along with my TeleTime YouTube channel and my in-person lessons. Itโ€™s a place to hang out, talk guitar, and dig a little deeper into how and why I play things the way I do. Hereโ€™s how this works: Iโ€™ll be posting guitar thoughts, licks, clips, and updates here You can ask questions, share wins, or just follow along If you want step-by-step lessons and deeper breakdowns, thatโ€™s all inside the TeleTime Classroom Thereโ€™s no pressure here - jump in however you want. ๐Ÿ‘‰ First thing to do: Drop a quick comment and tell me: What level youโ€™re at What kind of stuff you want to work on (licks, rhythm, solos, tone, etc.) Letโ€™s play some guitar. - Randall

Hi Randall! I like me some Blue Grass style guitar. I'm going to see Billy Strings in Boston the July and am pumped up! Would love to learn some riffs that have that style of playing. I'm also into older folk music by Doc Watson, Jerry Reed, and old time pickers like them. Thanks for creating this channel . Looking forward to learning from everyone!
