1 contribution to Ivy League Academy
Welcome to the Ivy League Academy!
Hey there, welcome to Ivy League Academy. I am really glad you are here! This community is your space to learn how to build a standout application for Ivy and Top twenty schools. You will get step by step lessons, monthly to do guides, community support, and a place to ask me anything along the way. To get started, do three quick things: 1. Introduce yourself - Tell us your grade, what you want to study, and one goal you have for this year. 2. Watch the first lesson in the Classroom - It will show you how admissions officers actually think and what matters most. 3. Check the Calendar for our monthly live Q and A - Bring your questions and I will walk you through your next steps. I will also be dropping occasional freebies and bonus resources, so check in often to grab them first. Excited to help you level up this year. You are in the right place.

Hi, everyone! I'm Chloe from Indonesia in Grade 11. I'm a US dual citizen, so I'm planning to apply to US colleges through Questbridge's National College Match, as financial aid is the deciding factor between which college I'll attend. I attend a small international school on financial aid. My school follows the Cambridge curriculum. I completed seven IGCSEs, earning A*s for First Language English, Chinese Foreign Language, and Mathematics without Coursework, and As for Additional Mathematics, Economics, Geography, and Physics. I am currently taking four A Levels: English Language, Economics, Mathematics, and Physics. I also took the November SAT on a fee waiver and got a 1410. My goal for this academic year is to get 1500+ in the spring. My extracurriculars: - Founded a free global platform backed by the Ban Ki-moon Foundation connecting students to scholarships and essay competitions, serving 250+ members. - Planning collaborations with professors from a few U.S. universities for economics projects; working with the International Economics Olympiad to launch competitions. - Managed recruitment and internal communications for a research organization with 100+ members. - Internship: facilitated weekly courses and contributed to curriculum development used by nearly 6,000 students and professionals worldwide. - Internship: wrote investment reports and presented recommendations to the Board of Directors to inform charitable investment decisions. - Internship: Helped design and deliver financial literacy workshops alongside interns from financial institutions. - Writer and editor at school journalism club: wrote and edited articles; collaborated with literacy-focused NGOs to promote education initiatives in rural areas. - Writer for a teen magazine: published articles; accumulated 10,000+ pageviews. - Vice President of Projects at school debate club: led mentors in teaching members, negotiated sponsorships that increased club funding, and organized local debate competitions.
