On a side note has anyone listened to/read the book ‘matrescence’ by Lucy jones? I’m on it right now. Each chapter is started with a reflection on the natural world(sounds weird but makes sense in the context of the book). Eg about the power of volcanoes or the process of a caterpillar becoming a butterfly.

Didn’t even think about it!
If I’m honest, when I was pregnant I didn’t really think about the new life I would have on the other side of birth. So many women I work to support don’t either 🫤 Did you?

It’s a huge concept to grasp! Like what do you mean this big bump really actually has a baby in there? And that baby will one day be a toddler… who will be a child… who will be a teenager… who will be an adult just like you with their own thoughts, habits, likes, dislikes… makes me tear up a little bit
