Hey @Vickie Helm and everyone. I'm Chineme, born in Nigeria and raised in the UK. My absolute best thing is to travel far and wide across the world, meeting and learning about different cultures and experiencing beautiful landscapes. Once my daughter turned 18 months old, I decided that she was curious enough to join me and we travel extensively at every given opportunity. I love gardening although it gets challenging with PT RA and FMS, but I still admire the handywork of professionals when I'm unable (I've had, and am yet to have many surgeries on my hands/joints). And I absolutely love going to the theatre - any genre will do me just fine! Thanks for the invite Vickie, I look forward to getting to know you all in time. 👋🏾😊

My parents brought their three female toddlers to sexist, racist London, England from Nigeria over 50 years ago. My Dad gathered us together one day soon after and told us that we can be whatever we chose to be so long as we focus and work towards it. Being Black girls was totally irrelevant, as facing obstacles and challenges will only make us strong, confident, happy women. He loved Jimmy Cliff and played, "You Can Get It If You Really Want" until we were jumping about, singing it word for word! Looking back, that was absolute genius! I learned the power of music and positive words which helped my beautiful daughter who has Williams Syndrome in all aspects of her life. There are many, many others from my dear, departed Father, but that was the most powerful to this little 3 year old ❤️
