Western Bits
Hey! I am a rodeo competitor and would like to make that a focus of my eventual services. This certificate is wonderful and informative but I was wondering if there is any articles or blogs you'd recommend for the more western style bits eg, chain mouthpieces, twisted snaffles, locked snaffles, ect?

@Charmae Bell thank you - unfortunately most bits marketed for barrel racing have some form of chain or twist. I’m keen to introduce the Bombers Williams bit to the barrel horse industry as the cheek piece is the same as the sliding gags but have much nicer mouthpieces. Locked snaffles are these cheek pieces, I’ve only seen the reins in the section opposite the mouth piece. At least that’s what the US Brands call them.
Bit collection for fit sessions
Hey guys! Regarding the case studies- do we need a sizable collection of bits to begin or are we just saying what we would recommend? I have a small collection but mainly snaffles/eggbutts so now looking at what I'd need to keep on hand when performing bit fitting sessions & case studies. Is there a list or general consensus of supplies & the range of bits we'd need in our "bit kit"?
