I'm new here 👋🏾 I'm actually from New Zealand so some things may be different. I would say I am about a 2 - I can comfortably do the basics of how to check fluids, change a tyre, change brake pads and bleed brakes, change spark plugs, everything radiator from removal to flushing and refilling with coolant. I just helped a girl yesterday on replacing an ignition coil with zero experience on a 2007 Holden Commodore VE 3.6L V6. No idea what we were doing but I followed a YouTube video to change 1 ignition coil that she apparently needed replacing from disconnection wires, air intake and manifold off to connecting it all back together again. I need more guidance and help. There was nothing I could do to tell her the exact problem as she just wanted to be correct about her car and not the car itself. These cars which I've had experience with 2 often have O2 sensor problems and timing chain problems especially when not properly taken care of but I'm not a mechanic I'm just speaking from experience.
