Like someone carved them into our bones before we even had a say. But what if... just what if... the story you're telling yourself about your life right now isn't even yours? What if it was handed to you? By a parent. By a culture. By a version of yourself who was scared and small and doing their best to survive? That old version of you was trying to protect you. I get it. I really do. But here's the question...... What if the opposite of your most painful thought is actually true? What would shift in your body? Your breathing? The way you look at the person next to you? I'm not asking you to reject every thought you have. I'm just asking you to pause. To hold that old story up to the light and say... "Is this really mine?
