💎 Wellness Wednesday (51) The back connection
One aspect of gallstones that often goes unnoticed, unless you look closely, is the connection to the spine. When there is load on the spinal column, muscular tension, or pressure on nerves, even if it never develops into a full disc herniation or something as dramatic, it can still significantly affect how the digestive system functions. The nervous system is not just a cable in the background. It is the communication highway. If there is stress along that highway, digestion can absolutely suffer. So if you experience repeated upper-abdomen pain, one aspect that may be worth checking is the state of your back. There are two simple ways to approach this. One is direct. We can feel your back. Massage it. Notice whether certain areas feel tense, engorged, tender, or painful. The second option is more diagnostic. We take a clear photograph of your irises and examine the spinal reflex zones visible in the eye. The spinal column is one of the structures that can be clearly reflected in the iris, indicating current stress and load patterns. 🗯️ So what do you think? Is your back an issue? And are you sure?
