A tip for beginners: if you can, invest in a coach early.
You can learn a lot from YouTube, but it’s hard to know if you’re doing things correctly. A good coach will help you build solid fundamentals from the start, correct bad habits early, and lower the risk of injury. Getting the basics right makes improving so much easier later on.

Do you recommend wall practice for beginners?
I’ve heard mixed opinions. Did it help your game, or did it create bad habits?

@Adrian Wong make sense. Thanks
What’s one tennis tip that instantly improved your game?
Mine was learning to watch the ball a little longer before contact. Curious what helped everyone else.

@Adrian Wong Thanks! I’m still pretty new to match play, so that’s really helpful advice. I’ve mostly been focusing on consistency from the baseline, but I definitely want to get more comfortable at the net.
Been working on my forehand lately
I still feel like I’m using too much arm instead of my body. Any tips or drills that helped you?
