This magenta Mystery snail politely scooted up right next to our pink Ramshorn Snail to share a piece of Kats aquatics Snail treats. This food has many nutrients as well as calcium and other minerals, that snails love, and which also keep their shells strong and healthy. #aquariums #snails

I don’t really have a problem with the bio load in my tank because it’s so well cycled and densely planted with just the right balance of plants. So a bladder snail explosion doesn’t cause my water perimeters to fluctuate whatsoever. But there are some other issues with these pest snails as you can see in the video below. They are really bothering my mystery snails and I’m beginning to understand why they are called pests. I’m using the aquarium co-op snail trap to get as many out of here today as possible after seeing what one of them is doing to my mystery snail. I’ve heard this was possible, but I’ve never actually seen it myself before.
