Small Win on the Path to Ownership
One of the biggest mindset shifts I’ve had recently is realizing you don’t always need to start a business from scratch, you can buy one. I used to think acquisition was only for huge corporations, but after diving into SBA financing and creative deals, it feels so much more possible. I recently ran numbers on a local business I thought was “out of reach,” and with SBA leverage, it suddenly looked doable. It got me thinking, sometimes the biggest barrier isn’t money, it’s just knowing the options exist. Has anyone here gone through an SBA-backed acquisition or franchise investment? What was the biggest “aha” moment for you in the process?
