"It takes time"
I have heard that a lot about getting traction and sales. I have 3 shops up and running one with 225 listings, one with 216 and 1 with 316 listing. All are running sales with free postage and a processing profile of 1 day. I have done some SEO verification and have started pinning listings to one Pinterest Business account, so far. I will start on the other 2 shops as well. Is there anything you can think of I can / should do apart from......................................................wait ⏲️ OR Add more listings 😊

Thanks all, I had a week set aside with no distractions (lucky I know) to set them up ⏲️ I now use midjourney prompts from claude to create one template which then gets batched into sets of 10 with a different quote from the same person in each batch. Then I let printshrimp work its magic and its on point with the way the AI works especially in tagging. Took me a while to work out the leanest way to do this
220 Sales in 5 Months! 🎉
Just wanted to share a little milestone and hopefully encourage anyone who’s just getting started. My Etsy shop has now reached: ✅ 220 sales ⭐ 4.9★ from 38 reviews 🛍️ 1,476 listings 📅 5 months old The first couple of months were definitely a learning curve while I found my feet and figured out what worked. It hasn’t all been plain sailing either. I’ve had refunds, difficult customers, and one review that took my shop from a perfect 5★ to 4.9★ because the buyer hadn’t realised the artwork was AI-generated. It was disappointing at the time, but it’s all part of running a business and you learn from every experience. A massive shout-out has to go to Tom at Print Shrimp as well. He’s been a huge help throughout this journey and has always given honest advice. When I was looking at subscriptions, he could quite easily have encouraged me to move onto the 1,000 listings per month plan, but instead he told me the 500 listings per month option would be more than enough for where my shop was at. That kind of honesty is rare these days. His advice on the bulk listing method has also saved me loads of time and made managing a large number of listings so much easier. It’s genuinely made a big difference to growing my shop. Overall though, staying consistent, improving my products, listening to feedback, and consistently adding new listings has really started to pay off. There’s still a long way to go, but I’m really happy with the progress so far. I’d love to hear how everyone else is getting on! - How old is your shop? - How many sales are you on? - What’s been your biggest win or lesson so far? Thanks again to Tom and everyone in this community. I’ve learned so much from reading everyone’s posts and advice, and it’s been a massive help on my journey. Looking forward to hearing how everyone else is getting on! 🙌
