Thanks for letting me join the group! Trying to work it out to meet up in Massachusetts!

Historically, this has always been the hardest time of the year for me to go camping as it seems that the rest of the world also has the same idea. Finding campground reservations are always at a premium. This is one of the reasons why I love to boondock, but that is increasingly becoming more difficult on the east coast. Where are you this holiday weekend?

It looks like the organizers of VanFest have now cancelled the Escape to the Cape Vanfest in August. That's OK as I know that we are looking to punt and will still hold our Campout in Bellingham, Mass. Some have suggested that we get together at Lake Dennison Campground during the original dates of VanFest. If you are interested, I believe that at least 5 have already made reservations at that campground. I'm going to check it out later today. We just finalized a great plan to hang out and camp and it's right after the VanFest Escape to the Cape event. It's at a campground, so you will have full hookups (I know the A/C will be nice in August). All you have to do is make your reservation now! Call 508-966-1136 and tell them that you are with the Adventure Crew. Quite a few people stated that they wanted to hang out for the week, so if you do we got you a special rate of $280 for the week.
