Florida Cob Cottage - photos
Here are some photos to preview for the case study on the Florida Cob Cottage build we finished a few years back. This one was an interesting build, and a lot of good lessons were learned for huge improvements. Florida is a tough place to build cob, not because of the weather, but because the soil has very little amount of clay content. I'll get into more specifics in the video case study. I will always have fond memories of that build. It was a lot of fun and we learned a lot. I still keep in touch with the owner. I often wonder Alex how the j pieces we put in for the roof will hold up over time. Glad I stayed to help out with that part after everyone left. I made sure to keep up with the final stages to see the full outcome. Next time I head down that way I will be stopping by to see it completed. Great time and class.

I think a live broadcast would be great. You could still have it recorded if someone misses the time frame. With involvement in the Q&A via zoom I think would be a amazing idea

Hey everyone. I spent time with Alex down in Keystone Fl back in 2018. His class was amazing and very well planned out. I learned a lot being out there. I am just about to pull the trigger on my own piece of land and glad to be back in the community again.
