Are you a Consumer or an Owner?
Do you want more financial tips? I was looking at the SMH ETF today (it’s the one that owns the "engines" of the world like Nvidia, TSMC, and Broadcom). It got me thinking about a core principle of Leadership and Money. Most middle-class workers are Consumers of these companies. We buy the phones, use the AI, and pay the subscriptions. But Leaders are Owners. Instead of just buying a single "hot stock," I like the SMH because it’s like hiring an elite team of employees. If one "employee" (company) has a bad quarter, the rest of the team is there to carry the load. That’s how you build a fortress, not just a pile of cash. I’m curious to hear from the group: When it comes to your finances, do you feel more like a "Consumer" (just paying bills) or an "Owner" (building a legacy)? 👉🏾Drop a "Consumer" or "Owner" in the comments—no judgment, we’re all here to move from one to the other!

I am Chantal Ninteretse, formerly with USAID and now dedicating my experience to both the management of a family clinic and the creation of a new NGO that reflects my passion for community development. I also work as a Gender Consultant, helping organizations strengthen gender-responsive programming. My aspiration is to grow as a leader who leads with care, achieves impact, and still honors the importance of family, rest, and personal balance.

Thank you Michael. One tip would be to observe the dynamics of the group and listen to the team through one-on-one sessions. Once the leader has understood the different skills set of the team and the group culture, then the leader can set direction, systems, and expectations
