@Shane Peterson So the "catch" in this assignment is to seize the new information, right?

@Shane Peterson 1. Pushover means a tough person, and would be strict with himself and anybody else. 2. Brace yourself is more proper because it is a safe posture when facing a car accident. So in that sentence it means watch out, the car will be driven fast. 3. The reason why I made a mistake about 19 and 90 is because I am too lazy and didn't focus on the second number. When I hear the first number is 19, then I just assume the second number will be too. And I didn't pay attention to it. Which also tells me I should work on those two numbers harder. 4. It's an Entenmann's cake! 5. "Back in" means the machine should be plugged into the power. Not just simply push "back to" the store. 6. I learned "help sb do sth". And the teacher said it would be wrong if I say help sb to do sth.
🏆 New York City’s Small Chess Heroes 🗽♟️
THE NEW YORK TIMES A Day in the Life of New York City’s Young Chess Stars Children from New York schools are consistently winning national chess championships, and programs dedicated to teaching young people the game are booming. 🧐 Questions 1. Did you play chess ? 2. Do you think chess is a cerebral sport, or is it just a game for school? 3. If you had a choice, would you rather play chess or a video game?

1. No, I haven't played chess before. However, I watched a drama recently, which is "The Queen's Gambit“ (an excellent drama, by the way), and I am just eager to try it. 2. I think it is definitely cerebral! It requires a lot of technique, and you could even grasp some mystery of life. 3. Now I am trying to learn chess on my phone like a video game version.
