Your focus is WRONG
$10k/mo, working from a beach, without a boss, etc… (You’re not the first copywriter to think like that, I’ve been there too) But all the while, you focus on the outputs you want to achieve, You’re actually slowing down your progress. I learned this the hard way. I made the most progress when I focused on nailing the inputs. Taking the daily actions, without excuses that a $10k/mo copywriter makes. Think of it like a fat person doing everything an athlete does: Training, eating well, pushing their limits consistently, Do you think they would stay fat forever? No chance, because they adopted the healthy habits. The same applies to your copywriting journey. Take the actions a $10k/mo copywriter makes, and the blocks will fall into place.

@Tyson FourDee Love this, such a powerful shift in mindset 🔥 Focusing on inputs instead of obsessing over outcomes is exactly what creates consistent, long-term wins. When you move like the person you want to become, the results eventually have no choice but to catch up.
Attaching portfolio in outreach?
👉 Question: From @harmonious_moose_47726 “Hey Tyson! While sending cold emails to prospects, should I attach my portfolio with the email or not?? Please help!” 👉 Answer: Let me ask you a question… How would it benefit you to not include your portfolio? Think about it that way. Bro, you should always give your prospects an easy way to check out your work. The idea is to save them as much time as possible, otherwise, they’ve gotta search online for your work. Business owners just don’t have the time for that. The easier your portfolio is to look at, the more views it’ll get, just because you’re making it low-friction. I’d recommend putting it at the end of the email, where it’s easy for them to find and click. Little things like this that save time show how efficient your workflows are, and the principles you’ll bring to the team.

@Tyson FourDee Solid advice, Tyson. Totally agree reducing friction in outreach makes a huge difference. A quick link to a clean, relevant portfolio can do more than a long pitch ever could.
I got a reply, should I change my free value?
👉 Question: From @joyboy_1223 “Hey @Tyson 4D , i wrote an ad as a free sample for a prospect and sent it via instagram , it was written mostly for muslim men wanting to get in shape as was his target audience but now he sent a voice message back saying "thankyou for the ad , but now i'm targetting working men of all ethnicity". should i just write another ad and send it to him ? or just say "thankyou for your time " and move on ?” 👉 Answer: Brooo, don’t give up and let him off the hook. He told you his strategy and what he needs. Make him a couple more ads aimed at the new target audience. Because you have all of the information you need, you can write an extra ad or 2 to showcase your skills.
