Working with David Stem and The Writers Forge changed more than my script. It changed me as an artist. I came in knowing what I wanted to say, but not how to let the story say it for me. Now I think less about “writing” and more about recreating the conditions under which I see the world, so the audience doesn’t just see what I saw, they experience it too. 💡 That’s been my lightbulb moment. Somewhere along the way, I stopped shaping my script, it started shaping me. And man, am I grateful.
