Thanks @Abbie Cornall that was a very thought-provoking session today - diverting to a Christmas focus for now My plan for next 4 weeks is to pick my Mom (and Dad) Life Story books Can I get some cover design direction - the best seller is this floral one (orange/ brown one) but a plain stylish one does well too (lilac one) I started with floral - long way to go (pink one) But would be so much easier (and as efffective) to go plain with fab fonts Mom and Dad versions would also feel more like a series if both were plain What does anyone think? A Book Bosser asked yesterday for an example of the pages I add to the front and the back of a lot of my books. It honestly depends on what sort of a book it is - I usually will also add a page about how to do the book or for coloring books I will add a page all about how to color in the book without your pens bleeding onto the next coloring page and ruining it by placing a piece of card paper inbetween the pages as you are coloring! I also sometimes add a "This Book Belongs to" page - especially for coloring books. THIS is a HUUUGE TRAP that I see alllll the time and it makes me really really sad and we NEED TO CHANGE THE STORY ready for this final quarter of the year! Try not to publish just 1 or 2 books and then start thinking thoughts like this..... ........."Oh is my book selling?" ........."Why is my book not making any sales?" ........."I'm really upset because my first book made no sales." .........."I'm a failure because my book is not selling." ........."Oh I don't think publishing books is going to work for me because I'm not making any money" .........."I'm just no good at this." THIS IS A LOSERS MINDSET Book Bosses........ the people who think these thoughts will NEVER be successful at book publishing and I may upset some people by saying this, but, I also believe they will not be successful at 98% of other entrepreneurial pursuits too! Because most other entrepreneurial pursuits also don't give them instant results either! Which is really really sad. These people need to flip burgers and sell them one at a time or sell cakes at a cake sale.....because they have ZERO LONG TERM VISION. These are the people who will frog hop and ping pong from trying one idea to trying out something else to something else and then onto something else. SAD. ______ My first 22 books didn't make any sales................at first......... yes TWENTY TWO BOOKS! ZERO SALES! .......and then I worked really hard and I made a book about batch cooking small dogs meals and that started selling straight away......and has made incredible sales ever since! But soooo many people would have ALREADY GIVEN UP a long time ago if they had published 22 books and made ZERO SALES! ......But I knew in my mind that this business HAS TO WORK FOR ME because amazon pays out over A HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS to book publishers around the globe every single month! I knew I could have a piece of that $100 MILLION PIE! It wasn't just a pie for others to eat from and not me! That would be so dumb of me to think that!

Omg 😦 I never thought the day would come that I would be creating a colour book on ROBLOX !! Grow a garden - after talking with 2 of my grandkids and listening to their pure joy of this hideous game !! I’m on it lol 😂
