The SKOOLx Story - What A Signature Talk Actually Means
Earlier this year, I ran a Signature Talk competition in my community called the "World Stage Challenge". My talk was about my experience coaching a 10-year-old boy through his own public speaking highs and lows, which inspired me to run my own public speaking competition (and in many ways, inspired me to be a communication coach). The competition was such a cool experience for me and my community members - as soon as I mentioned it to @Lucas Reuterstig, he was PUMPED! And alas, SKOOLx was born. ๐ฃ So, what is SKOOLx all about? It's about: โ Participation โ Showing up โ Taking a risk โ Being seen โ And most importantly, real connection through your words. And it's all centered around this thing we call a "Signature Talk" - a beautiful, relational asset that explains why you do what you do (without you needing to literally explain why you do what you do). It captures a beautiful moment in our lives, and gives us the tools to package it into something meaningful and memorable. No fancy editing. Just you, a camera, and your ideas. Nowhere to hide! As you can tell, I'm very passionate about this ๐ super excited to see the 30+ participants showing up and creating a beautiful artifact that they will be proud of. Please enjoy my signature talk - I look forward to seeing yours! @Dani Rosenblad James @Bjรถrn Hagemann @Natalie Duncan @Emma Fรกbryovรก @Wolfram Grohnert @Doa Kaptan @Rodrigo Rios @Kevin Pagan @Sungsoo Choi @Fredrik Lyngmark @John Doorbar @Subhan Nair @รva Raposa @Janet Little @Sam Dunlop @Semih Yalap @Anil de Vries @Amir Salemi @Danny Hansen @Tony Mulligan @Lindsay Bruce @Craig Gauvreau @Justin Yip @Jutta Wohlrab
