Special Christmas Gift Ideas Session Tomorrow (Friday)
Hey guys, I'm thinking that in lieu of tomorrow's Open Kitchen Hour 1 (ie. our Zoom cook-along), I'd like to do a session on how to make non-perishable Malaysian food gifts as a tie-in with the Christmas season. It'll still be run on Zoom, but you guys can just watch and ask questions rather than cook along. I also plan to livestream it so others can tune in as well (and get a taste of what we do in this group). I look forward to seeing you tomorrow!

CKT Experiment
I cooked CKT last night and experimented with using some frozen rice noodles - it turned out very well. There's only 2 of us usually so I had some leftover rice noodles the last time I made Wat Tan Hor - they had been softened in the microwave already and then frozen in individual serving sizes about 2 weeks ago I think. I put them in for 2-3 mins on high in the microwave from frozen and then fried them.
