The Teacher Story System ... it's coming!
Hey everyone, Thanks again for joining this community! I'm hoping to grow TCT here on SKOOL and offer lots of opportunities to talk in real time, host live Zoom calls, and prepare resources that are only available to this community. I'm workshopping it ... if you have any ideas, or suggested resources you'd particularly like to see here, please do let me know! 😉 I continue to have so many people reach out and ask me for support and assistance with a range of topics relating to teaching. One that keeps coming up particularly, is teacher's lack of confidence when preparing for interviews. I feel like it's easier to momentarily hide behind your application writing, but at some point, if your writing is spot on (and that's the plan 😊), you'll get a call to interview, and that's when you will need to confidently translate that written information into engaging interview responses. I've started to put together a comprehensive guide, which I'm thinking of naming 'The Teacher Story System', that really does a deep dive into all of the possible interview topics/themes, and teaches teachers how to create their unique stories according to how the panel might structure their interview questions? You never really know what they'll ask or in what context, but if you have a good idea of the school's values and have read their website and planning documents back to front, you'll get a pretty good idea of some of what could come your way! (If you've got an idea for a better product name ... let me know!!!) I've recently offered my new 'Behaviour Management Story System' on my Stan Store - it's a bank of 10 story stems related specifically to behaviour management questions. Please do feel free to go across and download it ... it's a bit of a taster and it's up there for FREE. The full system will become a new resource on my Stan Store, but will include so much more, and will really be a one stop shop for all things application and interview and I'm really excited about how much it's going to help teachers ... beyond the resources that I already have available.
