🎓 Did You Know?
Your first sublimation sale doesn't have to come from strangers. One of the biggest misconceptions beginners have is that they need a huge social media following or a website before they can make a sale. The truth is, Your first customers are often people you already know. Think about the people in your circle: ✨ Family ✨ Friends ✨ Coworkers ✨ Church members ✨ Parents from your child's school ✨ Sports teams ✨ Local businesses These are the people who already know, like, and trust you. Start by creating products that solve a need or celebrate a moment—back-to-school gifts, teacher appreciation items, sports gear, birthday shirts, memorial keepsakes, or personalized gifts. You don't have to reach thousands of people to make your first sale. You just have to reach the right people. Question of the Day: If you could create ONE sublimation product this week, what would it be? Drop your answer below! Let's inspire each other and see what everyone is working toward. 👇

Beginner Tip of the Day: You Don't Need Fancy Equipment to Start!
One of the biggest myths about sublimation is that you need a room full of expensive machines before you can make your first product. ✨ The truth? You only need the basics. Your beginner setup can be as simple as: 🖨️ A sublimation printer 🔥 A heat press 📄 Sublimation paper 💧 Sublimation ink 🩹 Heat tape 🧤 Heat-resistant gloves 📜 Butcher paper 👕 Sublimation blanks That's it! Don't let social media fool you into thinking you need every gadget before you can succeed. Every experienced sublimator started somewhere, and most didn't have a fully stocked craft room on day one. Your goal isn't to have everything. Your goal is to learn the process, build your confidence, and keep creating. Let's chat! If you're just getting started, tell us: Which piece of equipment do you already have, and what's the next item on your wish list? This is a judgment-free zone, and we're all here to learn together.

Let me let you in on a secret, not having a printer doesn't mean you can't start creating😉
What Is Sublimation
Did You Know? Sublimation Isn't Printing — It's Actually a Science Experiment Did you know sublimation isn't technically "printing" at all? It's a chemical process. Sublimation is when a solid turns directly into a gas, skipping the liquid stage entirely. That's exactly what happens to the ink: heat and pressure turn the solid ink into a gas, which then bonds permanently into the polyester or polymer coating of your blank. That's why sublimation designs don't crack, peel, or fade like vinyl can. The ink literally becomes part of the material. Did you already know this, or did you think it was "just printing"? Comment below!

I never wash first. I lint roll to get any particles off so blue specs aren't left on tshirt. But yes time, temp and pressure are important.

🎓 Top 5 Things Every Sublimation Beginner Should Know
Starting sublimation can feel overwhelming, but knowing these five basics will save you time, money, and frustration! 1️⃣ Sublimation Works Best on Polyester The higher the polyester content, the brighter and more vibrant your design will be. For the best results, choose blanks with at least 65% polyester, but 100% polyester is ideal. 2️⃣ You Must Use Sublimation Ink Regular printer ink will not work for sublimation. You'll need a printer filled with sublimation ink to create transfers that bond permanently with your blank. 3️⃣ White or Light-Colored Blanks Give the Best Results Sublimation ink doesn't print white. It relies on the color of your blank, so white and light-colored substrates produce the most vibrant designs. 4️⃣ Always Mirror Your Design Before Printing If your design contains text or graphics, remember to mirror (flip) it before printing. Otherwise, your finished product will come out backward. 5️⃣ Heat, Time & Pressure Matter Getting beautiful results isn't just about the design. Every blank has recommended heat settings, pressing time, and pressure. Following those recommendations can make the difference between a vibrant transfer and a ruined project. 💬 Question of the Day: Which tip was new to you? Or, if you've already started sublimating, which lesson did you learn the hard way? Share your answer below! 👇
