Found some cool fungi on a walk in Mohican State Park in Ohio.

Scientists recently discovered that certain soil fungi can influence the formation of rain and snow. Some species like Fusarium and Mortierella produce special proteins that help water freeze inside clouds. Tiny fungal spores rise into the atmosphere, where they become microscopic seeds for rain droplets and ice crystals. This means forests are not only producing oxygen… They may also be helping to create clouds and rain. 🌲☁️💧 Researchers call this:✨ BIOPRECIPITATION ✨ The idea that life itself participates in weather creation. Fungi, trees, bacteria, moisture, wind and clouds are all connected in one living breathing system. Even Amanita and other mycorrhizal mushrooms may indirectly participate through their deep relationship with forests, water cycles and atmospheric bioaerosols.
