Good Day Beautiful People 🤩 Just got my first Box truck after having my DOT/MC for years. I'm ready to put it to work and learn this trucking/dispatching game 🥳

@Sabrina Millet OK I guess no one else is going to ask. Sabrina, would you like a great hard working dispatcher? I offer two weeks free to give us a try. Then a low percentage to continue with great people. Message me if interested? LOL
C.H. Robinson’s BidBoardX: A New Way to Access Committed Freight
I found this really interesting for anyone working in or learning dispatching. 👀 C.H. Robinson is pushing BidBoardX, a platform where carriers can bid on future/recurring freight instead of relying only on the spot market and searching for loads every day. Committed freight already existed, of course, but what caught my attention is how this process is becoming more accessible and digital for carriers. Definitely worth reading, especially if you want to better understand the difference between spot freight, contract/committed freight, and bidding. https://www.freightwaves.com/news/c-h-robinson-bidboardx-committed-freight

💰 What Comes First: Growth or Profit?
I was reading Profit First today, and one part really made me stop and think. The author talks about how, as entrepreneurs, we often think: grow, grow, grow… and then the profit will come. More clients, more sales, a bigger business, and then we’ll make money. So I got curious and wanted to ask everyone here: When you think about becoming a successful dispatcher, what comes to your mind first? A) Building a big dispatching business, more carriers, more trucks, maybe eventually hiring a team, believing that the bigger the business gets, the more money you’ll make. B) Making the business profitable first, even if you start with only one or two carriers, learning how to control expenses, price your service correctly and actually keep a profit before focusing on getting bigger. C) A little bit of both, growing the business and building profitability at the same time. I’m really curious to hear everyone’s perspective. What comes first for you: growth or profit? And why? 👀

@Eunice Semedo De Andrade SO I wanted to say the Chicken or the Egg question!!! But if you have ever read Jack Welch books, he took over GE and really made it into what it is today. So if you aren't growing, improving, and learning.....you are dying.
