Join us to participate in six, weekly, 90-minute sessions on Zoom to learn how to develop new habits to: - be calmer and happier ourselves, - be better in our relationships, including with people we perceive we are different from or disagree with, - know, based on our intuition and what we learn from each other, what is ours to do, - and then to act to bring a future where each person is able to be more fully ourselves and all people can participate in a flourishing multiracial democracy, prosper in an equitable economy, and live in thriving communities of opportunity. This approach originated as Seeing Whiteness for Anti-Racist Action and has been adapted because the tools benefit everyone, across all identities and are more effective when we engage with them as our full, complex selves. In community together, we will: - notice when big feelings around one of our identities come up in daily life - take opportunities to slow down and do something different in that moment, and practice doing that - spend time in self-selected small groups so each person has a safe and brave space to be honest, try things on, and develop new habits - commit to keep going toward happier-ness, healing, equity, justice, and liberation.
