Etsy changes to policy
Good morning all, I have a question for the admin team if I may regarding the announcement by Etsy that they are clamping down on AI generated images/ photographs etc…. Is this going to impact us using POD in particular, PrintShrimp users???? I may be answering my own question but does posting a remark whereby you inform potential buyers that the image is either AI generated or contains AI embellishments, our get out of jail free card???? Many thanks in advance

@Mihai Volintiriu thank you 😊
Upscaling question pls
Hi, hoping someone can help pls 🙏 I'm creating images using Canva AI and downloading them as the highest quality that the paid version of Canva offers. Is this enough do you think, or do I still need to upscale them using upscaling software? My biggest fear is the quality of prints I will order through Printshrimp won't be the best it can be as I've not upscale enough? Thanks 😊

@Bart Tutaj hi, sorry for the delay in replying. They're all saying 9933 x 14043. Which according to AI (Gemini) says 'The dimensions 9933 x 14043 px correspond to an ISO A0 sheet of paper at a high-quality print resolution of 300 DPI (dots per inch).' Is that ok to send to Printshrimp and get high quality 'A' sized prints pls? It's feeling like rocket science to me at the moment 🙈 I looked at the link you put in your message and with you saying 'Knowing the difference between screen resolution (72 DPI) and print resolution (300 DPI at full physical dimensions)' I'm wondering if I'm understanding correctly?

Borders
Hi guys, how big a border do most of you put on your posters, if it needs one please? Im worried it may not look right in some picture frames...
Upscaling
Hi, sorry if this is a silly question but very new to this and trying to get my head around it all. Am I right in thinking I'm best creating a poster in the largest size and ensuring that largest size is upscaled correctly? E.g. creating in A0, ensuring 9900 x 14000 px and then all the other A sizes will be best quality print when they prepopulate in Printshrimp? Or do I need to make sure I create separate A sizes with their various pixel sizes? E.g. A4 would be 2500 x 3500 px? Hope this question makes sense 🙈

@Jayne Mcauley great, I did think that would likely be best, thank you 😊
Print Shrimpp
Hey - has anyone had any issues with quality from PrintShrimp? Wondering whether to do a test order or has it been ok for everyone?

@Mihai Volintiriu hi, hope you can help with my question about quality too please? I'm planning on starting to design with Canva (i have pro) but wondered if there's a way to ensure my designs print out best quality by ensuring a certain number of pixels or something? Hope I'm asking the question right, still new to this. Thanks 😊
