This Is What Happens When You Go Premium in The Classifieds 👀
Go premium and post your event in @Shannon Boyer The Skool Classifieds community, and lots of members will join your community. Of course, this is not guaranteed, but not only can they join your community, but they also add the date of your event to their calendar. 🟰 More members join your event, and more members join your community 🤷‍♂️ And Shannon also pins a post about your event. @Heather Wilson and I will keep posting about this until we're blue in the face. Well, Heather will 😁 Note: To do this, you have to join premium and also take Shannon's presentation course, and each event is $10.

Free live talk: how one person runs a business with AI staff
I'm running a free live talk on 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟮 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗻𝗲-𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗱: How I Run a Business with AI Staff. If you host events on your own, you know how much work goes into the event itself: promoting it, sending reminders, following up, and keeping track of who came. I run my business on my own, and my AI staff handle a lot of that kind of work. They do the research, the drafting, the email and the admin, and I check everything before it goes out. This is a look behind the curtain at how it works. I'll show you which jobs they take on, how I talk to them through a simple chat window, what it costs, where it goes wrong and what still needs a person. I'll also show you the communities I run and who each one is for. There's time for live Q&A at the end. I'm not promising a business that runs itself. I'm showing you how I actually work and being straight about the limits. 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻: UK: Monday 2 November, 8 pm GMT New York: Monday 2 November, 3 pm California: Monday 2 November, 12 pm Sydney: Tuesday 3 November, 7 am 📅 Join live on Google Meet: https://meet.google.com/iaq-eitp-dnm What's the one job around your events you'd most like to hand off to someone else?

This sounds really interesting, AI can do so much
What's Working Well For Me At The Moment 👀
After your event, presentation or call has finished. DM those who were there and ask them if they want to jump on a quick call. Strike while the iron is hot, or someone else will.

Two events instead of one?
So I want to get your thoughts on something. Right now, every event I run lands in the London evening. That works if you're in the UK or Europe, and it works pretty well for the US East Coast. If you're in Australia, New Zealand, or most of Asia, it lands somewhere between midnight and 5 am, which is a rubbish ask. I'm considering splitting it. Same session, run twice: one at a time that suits London and the Americas, one at a time that suits Aus, NZ, and Asia. Before I commit to doubling the work, I want to know if anyone would actually turn up to the second one. Would a second, Asia-Pacific-friendly time make you more likely to attend live? If you picked A or B, drop your city in the comments so I can pick a time that actually works rather than guessing. Des

@Des Dreckett no it's just a crochet and chat in the community but I alternate weeks with the times so as we can reach as many people as possible, I have started a two weekly Crochet Along (CAL) for my premium members, when I get myself more comfortable with doing it, would that be something that could go in the Events

@Auli Takala They do, it's such a good idea to rotate if you can
She almost deleted her community in June
Jenny Rader-Bakos told her husband it was a waste of time. All the effort going in, nothing coming back unless she was the one posting. He told her it was her passion. She stayed. Engagement in Rooted & Wild now runs somewhere between 85 and 90 per cent. The full conversation is up now: How Jenny Turned a Quiet Community Around. A few things she said that are worth your time: The comments are where the magic happens, not the posts. She's active in about ten other communities and sits near the top of most leaderboards. People read a good comment, click the profile, find the community. She never uses stock images. She photographs the process, not just the finished plate, because people who only see the finished thing decide they couldn't do it themselves. She runs a five-day posting plan so she never sits there wondering what to post. Monday through Friday, each day has a job; weekends off. Her first workshop was a Monday idea that ran on the Thursday, and two people turned up. She recorded it and shared the replay anyway. That's the moment things changed. Worth 30 minutes if you're in the quiet stage she was in back in June. If you want more of these, subscribe to the channel while you're there. Jenny's own community is Rooted & Wild if you want to see how she runs it. Check out our brand-new YouTube channel and hit subscribe while you're there. SUBSCRIBE HERE
